Approved minutes of the
2) Treasurer’s Report – Account balances are at expected levels. Dave will work to complete the 2005-2006 annual budget.

3) Fundraising – Bob Sedath is the popcorn Kernel. Show and Deliver popcorn will be available to pick-up at the Sedath’s house on September 25th. On November 1, scouts must return the following items: unsold popcorn, Show & Deliver money that is due, yellow order form & prize choice is due. Final orders will be submitted if necessary, pick-up on November 20th. Wreath orders are due on October 25th with the pick-up on November 19th.
4) Advancement – John Vulich reported that Individual Progress updates have been placed in the Scout mail boxes. He provided the Assistant Scoutmasters with an update of advancement requirements for the new Scouts to achieve the rank of 1st Class. Several Boards of Review have been completed but a few more will beed to be completed before the September camp out and Court of Honor. Eileen reported Diane Barbrette is now registered as Environmental Science Merit Badge Counselor.
Action: Complete Tenderfoot advancement requirements and Scoutmaster conferences.

5) Activities – Plans are underway for the September and October camp-outs. No actions recorded.
6) Service projects – At the August Committee meeting the Committee discussed Scouting for Food including tentative neighborhoods for 2006 as follows: Century Farms, Indian Hill East/West, The Place and Eagle Chase.
Action: Submit Scouting for Food Form before November 1 – Diane Pedersen.
7) Quartermaster – Need to purchase some tents. All the tents are 4 or 5 years old and there was a shortage of working tents at Summer Camp.
Action: Purchase tents – John Thurston
8) Leadership –
Neil confirmed with Pastor Johnson that Troop meetings will be in the
Multi-purpose Room through the 2005-2006 Program Year. There is still the potential for conflict
with the Volleyball ministry. The issue
should be pursued in the Spring when we re-charter. Also, most Troop positions have been filled.
Action: Neil will work to fill the Training Coordinator and May Picnic openings.
9) Roundtable – Discussed TFC Training, the American Heritage Award, the outdoor District Open House on October 23rd, and Recruiting. No actions recorded.
