The Troop will be going to camp during the week of June 24th ( Sunday the 24th to Saturday the 30th). The Troop will camp in Campsite 5. Unlike CFL meals are prepared in the dining hall. RSR is situated on about 737 acres and sports a great lake that always has a multitude of bass and blue gills.
Planning Information
The costs and other Summer Camp details are contained in the attached PDF file. For planning purposes please use the information contained in this document to determine payments, fee schedules, merit badge opportunities, etc..
When payment is required please provide a check made out to Troop
501, or indicate if you would prefer to use your scout account. Scouts
will need additional funds while at camp for snacks, if they so choose, and to
purchase any miscellaneous materials to work on a merit badge. Scouts will
also need enough money to buy lunch on the way home (fast food) and on the way
there if a sack lunch is isn't taken.
Scouts can use funds from their scout account to pay for
camp. Additionally, the troop's helpful scout account can be utilized to support
a scout. To request financial assistance from the Council and or the Troop 501 scout fund, please contact Mr. Jernberg or Mr. McChristian. All inquiries are treated as confidential. Our goal is to make certain that all youth in the Troop be afforded an opportunity to attend a long term camp experience such as summer camp.
